Philippe Montanier is no longer the coach of AS Saint-Étienne, according to information from Progrès and L'Équipe. The 61-year-old coach failed to promote ASSE to Ligue 1. Arrived on February 1st last in replacement of Eirik Horneland, Montanier failed in the playoff against Nice. According to our information, the club decided not to renew his contract which expires on June 30th.
